Wedding MC for Hire
“Hiring a wedding MC was the best thing we did.”
A lifesaver! The day ran perfectly! Relaxing and stress-free! Really bought the whole day together!
The last thing you want to do on your own wedding day is run around after guests or suppliers. It’s your special day. Enjoy every moment and let someone else manage it for you.
Which is why so many smart couples hire Tony Winyard as their wedding master of ceremonies. Think of him as a modern toastmaster – but much more fun.
As part of his wedding MC duties, Tony introduces you and your partner, and your wedding party, into the room for the wedding breakfast, as well as the speakers for the speeches. He also helps with the cutting the cake ceremony, keeps everything running to schedule and ensures your guests are kept informed as to ‘what’s happening next’ throughout the day. He also liaises with venue staff and suppliers.
“Having performed at hundreds of weddings as a wedding MC, I know the massive difference it makes to the day when there’s lots of laughter throughout the wedding breakfast and evening reception. By introducing each member of the wedding party with their own music and humorous story, there’s no better way to break the ice and ensure your guests enjoy your wedding day.” – Tony Winyard
Most couples have Tony as their wedding MC and wedding DJ.

“As a wedding MC my role is to help with the transitions between various parts of the day and keep everything running to schedule. I do this by just talking to people in a friendly and personal way and using humour and music where appropriate. Unlike traditional toastmasters, there’s no shouting! One of my favourite parts of the day is introducing the happy couple. Before each wedding, I get to know the couple and how they met, who asked who out and how the proposal went. Neither of them knows what the other has told me. Then I put a speech together that’s a mixture of humour and sentimentality and I deliver this love story as the couple come into the room for the wedding breakfast. There have been too many weddings to mention where the guests have been laughing one minute and in tears the next!” – Tony Winyard
