At a recent wedding that I was booked to provide entertainment at, apart from being booked to get everyone dancing through the night, I was also booked to play two special pieces of music at the ceremony itself, at which I played one as the bride entered the room, and the other piece as the bride and groom were leaving the room.

Following this I provided background music during the Wedding Breakfast and then topped it all off by getting the whole wedding party bopping the night away until midnight.

However, unbeknownst to the bride (although the groom was in on it), during the ceremony I recorded both the bride and groom reading their vows, and then during the Wedding Breakfast I spent a little time editing this recording so that when it came to the first dance I played a couple of short snippets of the bride and groom saying their vows over the top of the song for the first dance. The result was that it seemed half of the women in the audience seemed to be in tears!… tears of happiness I should add, and the look on the brides face was a picture. I later recorded the vows onto a CD and gave it to them as a keepsake.

If you’re looking for something a little extra, rather than just a disco that turns up and plays some records, get in touch. There is so much that can be done to make your wedding special and not just the same as so many others. We’re only limited by your imagination really!

I meet with all of my clients at the initial enquiry stage to sit down and discuss exactly what they’re looking for. The things that they’ve liked from other events they’ve attended and also the things they haven’t liked and definitely want to avoid and from these conversations we then create a completely bespoke event and special day.

White starlight dancefloor

At the aforementioned wedding, I also supplied a very stylish dancefloor (of the type pictured here)

and uplighting (mood lighting) which transformed the room and matched the colour theme that the bride had chosen.
